My Way of Things

When I'm explaining my theroy to the villagers who come to my hut in the caves and hills I tell them what may or may not happen to them. I have also explained why something has happened to them. Everything happens for a reason. I mentioned this before, but like with Okonkwo and his crops he was being punished by the gods for what his father had done. The crops werent growing.

Hills and Caves

Chielo carried Ezinma to my little hut for me to talk to her. Chielo walked with Ezinma on her back up hills on a long journey to get here. They walked through Okonkwo's hut and then continued on their journey. Okonkwo tried to stop Chielo my priestest from taking Ezinma to me but eventually she came anyway. Chielo and I exchanged words of "Beware" and then Chielo ran off with Ezinma on her back taking her into a far away village, leaving me alone in my little hut inside the cave. Then eventually returned back to the hut (shrine) in the hills and caves. Ekwefi and Okonkwo were waiting outside my shrine just before dawn approached.

Life as an Oracle

Me being the Oracle of Nigeria I talk to the villagers about their problems and find answers for them. Some people claimed that I tod Obiako that he would fall off a palm tree and died. He was always a strange man but that was long ago when Obiako's father died. Umuofia said he was going to kill the boy who called him father. He had me proclaim it to the hills and caves of Nigeria.

I couldnt find a video about Agbala but I did find one about life in Africa.

Catherine Olsen All Things Fall Apart Agbala

Agbala

I am the oracle of the Nigerian tribe. I have a shrine that is inside a cave somewhere in the Nigerian Village and that's where I talk to my priestess. Okonkwo the village leader was asked me why his crops were failing. I told him that his crops were failing because he was lazy, he had angered the gods, his sons were disturbing the growth of the crops and he was being punished for what his father had done in the past. I am worshiped in a cave where the people enter through a hole in the side of the cave. My priestess is Cheilo. She is a widowed mother of two children and she takes care of my daughter like her own. Agbala proclaims the will of god to the ones who ask for help.
